Fanfic Part 59
"*grunt* ... *moan*," Saya felt something hard under her stomach, she opened her eyes and saw the ground moving. " ... uh ... what?"
"Finally up?" asked Tatski, she was carrying Saya over her shoulder.
"Ah ... put me down!" Tatski smiled and dropped her. Saya coughed then got up to hit Tatski, "meanie!"
"Heh, damn straight," said Tatski.
"... where's Yami and Ame?"
"^_^ behind you," instantly Saya flipped around and saw them. Saya sighed then signaled for a break; they went to sit on some tree limbs and talked about the retrieval of Yami.
"Hikarii? So you killed that girl after you abstracted Yami?"
"Yup."
"... last time I checked ... you can't do that! Since when can you do that kind of stuff?"
"I don't know ... I can figure things out in my head ... I think through the process, then ... I just do it, lately, that's been going well for me."
"Really ...? ... *sigh* smart ass."
"Not my fault."
"Right ... now what's this about the search party?"
"Oh, right, I have to look for Sasuke."
"And Sasuke is ...?
She raised her pinky while Saya laughed.
"Okay, quit it ... it's almost sunset, now we have to get serious ... who told you I was a kyuubi?"
"Oh ... -.- ...gross, it was this stupid guy with a plant for a head ... well kinda, the plant was like a venus fly trap, and his head was somewhere at the bottom ... something like that."
" ... ew ... what was he wearing? Did his clothes have any particular markings?"
"Yup, black cloak with clouds on 'em ... I believe a red outline ... or white?"
"Shit."
"Wha'?"
"That's Akatsuki."
" ... oh ... damn ... they are strong then."
"You fought that plant guy?!"
"Yeah, for a short time, but his chakra overwhelmed me, his aura too. The intensity slowed me down, so I just concentrated on getting away."
"Dang."
"Yeah, I've been picked on because my past lies with yours, Chaos this, Chaos that ... but to have someone that strong after you ... I just had to find you."
"... hnn ..."
"Speaking of aura, you're repressing yours? And you chakra?"
"... oh, didn't notice, I guess I got used to doing it all the time."
"Why?"
"Overwhelms most."
"Yeah right! ... but that's for later, right now, we gotta find a place to crash in."
"Right."
Ame roared and the girls flipped around to see a group of men.
"Well, well, well, ... 'ello lil' ladies," said the man in the center. Rather tall, brunette built and a ninja, same goes for the others. "lil' girls shouldn't be out this late."
"Yeah!" yelled one of the other men.
"-.- ... uh, okay, we're about to leave," said Tatski.
"Nah ... girls like yourselves caught out at night deserve a punishment," said the center man.
"... uh, Tatski ... what the hell?"
"They're just scum."
They smiled wickedly then released their suppressed chakra.
Saya leaned closer to Tatski, "... scum? ... I don't think so," Tatski turned to Saya with a surprised look, "what?"
"They're crap," said Tatski.
"Seriously," whispered Yami from Saya's shoulder.
Tatski turned toward the men smiling, "dude." Saya grabbed Tatski's arm, "there's like ten of them."
"Heh ... an Akatsuki member is five times stronger than these dead beats combined," said Tatski. "Step back," Saya moved back and Ame jumped onto her other shoulder.
"Hah! You gonna stand up to us?" yelled the man. Five were already aiming and the rest were doing hand signs. Tatski bent her knees and crouched.
The men charged while yelling, Tatski created two clones, they dashed around her and rapidly created a sphere of chakra. The men drove into the sphere, they were shot backwards at the least twenty or thirty feet. They all twitched on the ground while Tatski summoned back her clones. They raised their heads then screamed when they felt something around their feet.
Tatski raised her arms and from her hands, chakra vines wrapped around the men's ankles. She dragged them upwards then slammed them against the ground.
"Okay! ... sorry!" yelled one man.
Tatski smiled then turned to lead Saya to a nearby village.
Saya slept on the bed, while Tatski walked out.
'Where are we going?' asked Ame.
'Training,' answered Tatski.
