Fanfic Part 49
"Nice, did you give him that idea Kakashi?"
"Kinda, he sort of just figured it out on his own."
Naruto had two clones, one was controlling the compression of the Rasengan, while the other controlled the added element.
"*smiles* I'm ... I'm actually gonna get it!" yelled out Naruto.
"Naruto, you certainly are talented," began Kakashi.
"Ditto," added Tatski.
"Thanks!"
"I think I'm falling in love with you," finished Kakashi. With that said, Naruto completely lost control of the Rasengan and it blew up in his face.
"Crud," Tatski went up by Naruto and helped him up, "you okay?"
"Yeah," he turned to Kakashi, "don't say things like that! You made me blow up!"
"Sorry, I didn't mean it that way," he started walking over to them.
"No! Stay away from me!"
Kakashi laughed then he noticed Tatski's serious face. "You okay?"
She pointed a hand behind Kakashi, "two Jounin and I think Tenzou."
"Huh?" he turned and Tenzou appeared with two other men.
"Kakashi, Naruto's training will have to be put off for a while," said Tenzou.
"Why? What happened?"
"Asuma has passed away," he said.
'Oh man ... so that's what was bothering me ...' Tatski went up by Kakashi and she looked up at Tenzou. "Natural or murdered?"
"Tatski!" Kakashi stared down at her.
"No, that's how the matter should be treated," said Tenzou. "*sigh*, he was murdered ..."
"Finish it!"
" ... by Akatsuki."
'Are they planning to go after Akatsuki?' asked Ame.
'... maybe not them ...' Tatski walked up to Shikamaru's place, and a woman opened the door.
"Oh, hello Tatski, are you looking for Shikamaru?"
"Hi, Ms. Nara, yeah. Do you know where he is?"
"No, he took off *sigh*, Tatski, please, go find him. I'm afraid he might do something crazy and go after Asuma's killers."
"Don't worry, he won't do anything crazy ... at least not prepared. He's smart *smiles* I'll find him."
"Well, for one, it's foolish!" Tsunade yelled at team ten.
"Don't worry, I got it under control," replied Shikamaru.
"No! You need a-"
"I'll go," they turned to Kakashi.
"Me too," and Tatski.
"Kakashi-sensei? Tatski?" Shikamaru couldn't help but be surprised. "... *sigh* that work for you Gondaime-sama?"
"... fine, but Kakashi, doesn't Naruto need you? And Tatski, aren't part of Team seven?"
"Naruto has a new instructor," answered Kakashi.
"Team seven isn't in balance, so I unofficially withdrew until you can find a better balance, besides, since when do I ever listen to the rules," said Tatski.
"Wh-what?!" Kakashi turned fast to Tatski.
"You withdrew? ... from Team seven?"
"Yes, but that doesn't matter now, at the moment we just help them," she looked at Team ten.
"*sigh* ... fine, you guys go ahead and I'll send back up as soon as I can," said Tsunade.
"That'll do," said Shikamaru, Kakashi and Tatski walked up by them.
"... when did you take up smoking?" asked Tatski.
"Just now "
"Okay, that's the plan, Kakashi you know what to do, and Tatski you're our lookout, and you help anyone who gets in trouble."
"Right ... uh, do you know which Akatsuki members we're going up against?"
"*smiles* we're about to find out," said Shikamaru, he turned to Ino and she was already falling. He caught her and looked up.
'So that's it ... eh, kinda obvious,' Tatski followed the only hawk that flew out of the ordinary.
'Do you think we'll come across Itachi?" asked Ame.
'... I doubt it, something about a Hidan killing Asuma. Itachi travels with Kisame, I doubt we'll run into Itachi.'
'... what about Sasuke?'
'We're looking for Akatsuki, not him.'
'You know what I mean, Tatski.'
'*sigh* don't think so.'
"Found them!" Ino came back to life and pointed the direction.
"You know," started Kakuzu, "I'm really getting tired of this."
"Whatever, stop bitchin' at me and take it up with the leader," replied Hidan.
Hidan walked right past Kakuzu, he turned, "what?"
"Shit! ... it's that kid again!"
"What?"
"I can't move!"
"Damn!" Hidan tried moving just to find out that he couldn't move either.
"Hey guys," Kakashi and Asuma's team jumped down.
'Tatksi?' asked Ame, 'ever seen anyone like the guy on the right?'
'Nope ... interesting choice for a weapon.'
"Damn cretin! I can't believe you use that same jutsu again!"
"Worked though, huh?" answered Shikamaru. "But there's something different this time."
"What the?" Kakuzu grabbed his weapon and turned towards Hidan.
"Kakuzu! What the hell are you doing?!"
"The little bastard's controlling my actions! Ugh! Do something!" Kakuzu kept moving towards Hidan while he aimed his scythe, "shit! Hidan! Dodge!" Before Kakuzu's scythe did damage, Kakuzu dodged easily.
"What?!" Shikamaru didn't lose his entire concentration. "How did he ...?" Shikamaru followed the shadows, then he saw Kakuzu's arm attacking one of the shadows. "What the...?"
"Unlike my partner, I actually do think ahead," said Hidan. "Believe me, your mistake was when you left your village to pursue us."
'Son of a-' Before anyone blinked, Kakashi's chidori had already gone through Hidan's left side of the body.
"Shit!" Hidan turned to see Kakashi.
"Your mistake is underestimating us, and for that, now you're gonna die," said Kakashi, he slowly pulled out his chidori.
' ... Kakashi, he's letting his guard down.'
'Why shouldn't he? Only Kakuzu's left.'
'Nope, Hidan is an Akatsuki member ... there is no way he's dead.' He wasn't dead, he kicked up then threw Kakashi across the clearing and Kakashi slammed against a tree.
'Ugh! ...' Kakashi sat up slowly, Ino jumped down by him and began her medical ninjutsu. 'How can he still be alive?'
