Fanfic Part 29
‘A puppet master? … Sasori … at least I got one attack in,’ she followed Kakashi and looked back at Naruto. He caught up just in time, Deidara expanded then blew up, literally. “What kind of freaking jutsu is that?”
“Don’t know, don’t care! As long as I got away I’m okay!” yelled out Naruto.
“Well … since he’s gone, we should try finding the others,” said Kakashi.
“Chiyo and Sakura are currently fighting Sasori, a puppet master … now that I think about it, I should have really left a clone with Gai’s team,” said Tatksi.
“I knew you had left a clone! What would have happened if we needed you at full power? And you still wanted to leave one with Gai?” lectured Kakashi.
“Think of what happened instead of thinking what could have happened,” said Tatksi.
‘That Deidara person is still around you know,’ said Ame.
‘I know … so I guess that was genjutsu.’
“Guys! I got Gaara … doesn’t look like he’s doing any good,” said Naruto.
“Sakura?” Tatksi and Kakashi turned to see Sakura and Chiyo. ‘Ooh … damn, they look like crap, wonder what happened to Sasori?’ Tatski helped Sakura with Chiyo. ‘Barely any chakra left … for either of them, damn, what the hell did I miss?’
“Sakura, come on. You can make Gaara better,” said Naruto. “Naruto, I barely have any-”
“I’ll lend you mine,” interrupted Tatski. They went over to Gaara and Naruto.
“Well? What’s wrong with him?” asked Naruto.
“Uh … Naruto, Gaara can’t be healed,” said Sakura.
“Wh-what? What do you mean by that?”
“He’s dead,” said Tatski. ‘Only person who did something ends up dead … damn that sucks.’ They heard Chiyo grunting; they turned to see her dragging herself towards Gaara.
“I can … finally repay him … I owe him,” she placed her hands over his chest and a small, dim glow appeared.
“How can you still have chakra left after everything that just happened?” asked Sakura.
“That isn’t chakra,” said Tatksi. ‘This is what I want … what I want to learn.’
‘Life force transfer?’ asked Ame.
‘Yeah,’ she looked at Chiyo then at Gaara, wasn’t long before Gaara stirred. ‘… I … don’t think she can teach me that.’
“Chiyo’s dead,” said Sakura.
“Don’t know, don’t care! As long as I got away I’m okay!” yelled out Naruto.
